Have you ever ridden the airplane before?
Well, if you have, you will probably know the feeling of the take-off. The speed of the airplane is very fast(290km/h). But the airplane I'm reviewing now is a whole-new one with a double de k, wide-body, four engine jet-liner by Airbus, called Airbus 380.
It has a range of 15,400 kilometers. Its ring is sized for a maximum take-off weight of over 650 tons. Airbus 380 is available with two types of engine. The first one is the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or the Engine Alliance GP 7000. It names looks hard, but it is simply a name. And the engine allows the airplane to significantly reduce the noise.
However, this gigantic aircraft needs a lot of efforts to be done. The rival company "Boeing" enjoyed this market segment since the early 1970s with the 747 series.
Airbus 380 did have a lot of checks. During the test(to be exact it is destructive wing strength certification test),the wing of the A380 failed at 145% of the limit load. The international standard of the test was to sustain 150%, so Airbus had to adjust some of their plans. Not tests, but Production and Delivery Delay was rising as a gigantic problem, too. Due to its massive size, it took a lot of time to manufacture the Airplane. They announced the first delays in June 2005, and the second delay on June 2006. And that was the only problem. Time to fly!
I've also ridden the A380 before when going to Los Angeles. When take-off, it was literally half of the sound of Boeing 747. Also, statistics' says that A380 has lowered its SPL(Sound Pressure Level) up to 7 decibels, which is a significantly reduced compared by Boeing 747.
The seats were wider, too, as was the space of the back and forth got longer. If I can grade this awesome plane, I'll probably give him 9.5 stars out of 10 stars
