So, Let's go back to structure part.
So, We are done with Cockpit, Jet Engine, Wing, Fuselage.
Now, let's go to Elevator, Vertical Stabilizer, Rudder.
Well, to be honest it is nothing to explain.
But to explain more effectively, Let's zoom or close up to the tail part of the airplane
Well, little bit of Korean, It's Ok.
So Vertical Stabilizer it tilts to make the airplane stabilize vertically. And Horizontal Stabilizer tilts to make the airplane stabilize vertically. And Elevator tilts to lower or get the altitude of the airplane. And Rudder and Trim Tabs, basically helps the function.
Well, that's it for today I guess. I'll probably see you at the post of Airplane's flight.
How Airplane uses its wings to fly and the position airplane are flying.
Bye!!

Airplane: Engine Ignition
Well, As I said before, I'm going to talk about engine's ignition during the flight, take off or landing. The picture below is the turbo jet engine. This engine is typically in the jet plane or massive airplanes.
Before we move on to principle of the engine, take a look at the video below.
Source: YouTube(Made by Russian Rail Road)
This is most airplane jet engine does;
Absorb, Compression, Ignition, Emission
First, we have to start with an absorption
Take a look at this picture
This is the part of engine called rotor. When Engine Ignites, it starts rotating like fan. It compress the air and lower the speed of the air to absorb. and then they passed it to another rotor next to it to do more compression to air and more lowering the speed of the air to absorb.
And Next to Ignition, Ignition is very important. We need to do complete burn to fly the airplane which means that we have to make a ideal environment for fire to start or else there will be lot of ashes and smoke coming out from the airplane, which is not complete burning, it is incomplete burn, which significantly lowers the efficiency of the fuel.
If you do like that, The airplane will end up being like this:
So, after that kind of complete ignition, airplane's engine have super power. And only emission has left.
I don't really have a picture for emission. They do use the Nickel Alloy to protect the emission part. Because of the Ignition's great energy. When we don't have a Nickel Alloy, it will significantly lower the efficiency of the engine power. And even more, we have to protect the Nickel Alloy. So, the fan gets cold air and make a layer of cold air in the Nickel Alloy.
And after that, the great power makes the emission which makes normal airplane accelerate up to 1000km/h and Jet airplane can go faster than the speed of sound.
So, Next time, I'm going to finish up about the structure of the airplane,
See you later!!

Bird Collides Into Gigantic Airplane.
Bird Collides Into Gigantic Airplane
By Young Mok Bae
In June 31, a small bird called into gigantic airplane. This airplane is planned to fly from Dallas to Denver. The pilot managed to get the airplane into control.
And now, Let's talk about it.
To Pilot, The take-off or landing is also called the death of 9 minutes. It is the most accident-occuring part of the whole flight. The reason is that airplane's altitude is low comparing to real flight way, which means that airplane pass the bird-flying zone by increasing the altitude.
The airplane collided into bird 40km away from the Denver Internation Airport, and fortunately, thanks to great pilot, 151 of passengers(which is all) were able to land into runway safely.
According to Airplane Company, The nose(control room) is the easiet part to collide with the bird. If nose got hit by bird while gaining altitude(which is the speed of approximately 240km/h), it will be same damage as you drop 450kg rock in 3m height.
That's a lot isn't it?
And also according to wild animal expert, they are predicting that it will be a giant duck or goose.
Airplane: Structure
Hello, Today we are going to talk about Airplane's structure
Airplanes are very complicated vehicle. So knowing the structure of the airplane is very important.
Below, there is the structure of the airplane
Well,it is hard to list all of the stuff of the airplane, so I am going to devide the airplane's structure part to two parts.
So, the cockpit, It is where the pilot stays and command or control the airplane. Also, the jet engine generate the thrust.
The airplane I reviewed before was A380 and it has four engines. However, normal airplane has two main engines. So the part which we call Jet Engine mainly generates the power by engine power. I will explain you about it in later post.
And also Wing. Wing is to generate the lift. In wings, they also have a thing like Flaps, Aileron, Spoiler, Slats or something like that. But right now, you don't really have to know it.
So, My next post will be just about engine. and then, I'll go to the structure part,
See you later

Adora Svitak
Today, I saw a TED Video by Adora Svitak.
In her speech, she strongly argues that the world really needs childish thinking. The world needs bold ideas, wild creativity, and optimism. Then, she showed us pictures which made me laugh. She said that it was adults who committed such actions like Imperialism, and colonization or world wars. However, she also compared them with many children such as Charlie Simpson, who helped to raise 120,000 pounds for Haiti or Ruby Bridges, who helped to end segregation in the U.S.
However, adults call us "childish". But by evidence, age has absolutely nothing to do with it. Her speech was very moving and above all, she will become a great speaker:)
Below is Adora Svitak's Video, So if you are interested, Take a Look!!
Well, it has Korean Subtitle(By TED TALKS), so if you are not able to speak English, look at the subtitle!!:)

Reviews of the Airbus 380
Have you ever ridden the airplane before?
Well, if you have, you will probably know the feeling of the take-off. The speed of the airplane is very fast(290km/h). But the airplane I'm reviewing now is a whole-new one with a double de k, wide-body, four engine jet-liner by Airbus, called Airbus 380.
It has a range of 15,400 kilometers. Its ring is sized for a maximum take-off weight of over 650 tons. Airbus 380 is available with two types of engine. The first one is the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or the Engine Alliance GP 7000. It names looks hard, but it is simply a name. And the engine allows the airplane to significantly reduce the noise.
However, this gigantic aircraft needs a lot of efforts to be done. The rival company "Boeing" enjoyed this market segment since the early 1970s with the 747 series.
Airbus 380 did have a lot of checks. During the test(to be exact it is destructive wing strength certification test),the wing of the A380 failed at 145% of the limit load. The international standard of the test was to sustain 150%, so Airbus had to adjust some of their plans. Not tests, but Production and Delivery Delay was rising as a gigantic problem, too. Due to its massive size, it took a lot of time to manufacture the Airplane. They announced the first delays in June 2005, and the second delay on June 2006. And that was the only problem. Time to fly!
I've also ridden the A380 before when going to Los Angeles. When take-off, it was literally half of the sound of Boeing 747. Also, statistics' says that A380 has lowered its SPL(Sound Pressure Level) up to 7 decibels, which is a significantly reduced compared by Boeing 747.
The seats were wider, too, as was the space of the back and forth got longer. If I can grade this awesome plane, I'll probably give him 9.5 stars out of 10 stars

Goals for 30 days.
Well, Hello everyone. And I am the manager of the blog.
Recently, I had the opportunity to see the TED videos. TED has a subtitle of ideas worth spreading. And I think it is very valuable and fun.
I watched the Matt Cutt one. His point in the lecture was that set the goal for 30 days and go for it. He ends up finding that 30 days is the ideal time to discard bad habit and get good habits.
And by that I decided the get my own goal. And these are my list of goals.
No sugar
No caffeine
No McDonald's
Restrict the time using computer.
Eat salad every day.
I chose the one 'Restrict the time using computer.'
I chose to restrict the time using computer for two reasons. First, It is good for my health. Everybody knows that using computer too much is bad for your health. And electronic wave comes from computer is very difficult. Next, Everybody around me get benefit. My mom worries about my health. But if I stop doing computer my mom will not worry.
Maybe you guys have to try doing that, too.

We should restrict the airplane traffic.
I strongly think that we should restrict the airplane traffic in the airports. First, there is a huge sound when the airplane takes off or lands. And also too much airplane traffic can cause environmental problems, too.
To start with, there is a huge sound when the airplane takes off or lands.
Some might argue that "For that little reason,we can't restrict the transportation which are fast and convenient for us. However, the opposing side isn't considering about the damage for the people who are living around the airport. In addition, Research conducted by NewGenerationHearing Company, offers the result that the constant exposure to loud noises could cause the loss of hearing. This kind of evidence clearly shows that the sound clearly "does"harm the humans nearby.
Next, too much airplane traffic can cause environmental problems. We can get an example from Concord. Concord is a SST, which means flying very fast to be exact, two times the speed of the sound. However, Concord has stopped its flight in 2003 because of the sound and the pollution. During an airplane flight, it basically uses the oil to make the engine work. The engine's type may differ from those from car's. But the basic thing is that both transporation burn oil to make energy. And if you burn oil, pollution automatically comes out. But for airplane, they shoot right in the air. Nowadays, Air pollution is big problem in all globe. But airplane is shooting airplane right in the atmosphere of the earth.
To summarize, I strongly think that we should restrict the airplane traffic in the airports. I have two supporting details for that. First one is that there is a huge sound which is very harmful for hearing when the airplane takes off or lands. Finally, too much airplane traffic can cause environmental problems. In conclusion, again, I think we should restrict the airplane for our own goods and for others.

So let's see:
What is the airplane?
The dictionary meaning of the Airplane is
An airplane is a vehicle with wings and one or more engines that enable it to fly through the air.
But to explain easily.
Airplanes are vehicles that we ride which have wings and one or more engines
Airplanes are usually divided into small ones or big ones
Small ones are light aircrafts
Bigger ones are the airplanes we ride when we travel overseas
Image of the airplane: usually you don't board an airplane by stairs but it doesn't matter
This is a bigger one.
And the picture below is a light aircraft.
This is a light aircraft,
Its speed is not as fast as bigger ones. Bigger ones have bigger jumbo engines which can allow bigger ones to accelerate up to the speed of sound (about 1200km/h).
However, the lighter ones are not powered by jumbo engines.
They are activated by propellers.
Due to their small weight, they can easily shake when we encounter turbulence.
I've ridden in a small plane before, however, it is not fun when we encounter turbulence.
Bye, that's all for today.

Introduction to Air GLPS
Welcome to My Blog: Air GLPS
This blog which you are looking at is mainly about Airplanes.
The blog is mainly consisted of the airplane stuff such as fighting plane, basic principle about the airplane, about notorious airplane accidents, and little bit of personal story.
I would make my blog specialized in Airplane, which can allow us to look up the information in this blog; any single information about airplane.
And also,I am the manager of this blog "Bae Young Mok". This blog is now very tiny, but soon, it will be full of airplane information. I am interested in Airplane accidents, fighting airplanes and basic principle of the airplane. But I am particularly interested in fighting airplanes; I am very interested in after burner engines, stalls, and weapons equipped in the plane. I hope I can be a top blogger in the airplane field.
Thank you for reading my introductory paragraph.
